The majority of mobile phones today are mp3 enabled and fits in them external memory card that extends the memory capability of the set. Memory cards are small devices that are used to store electronic data. And while memory cards come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are available for a variety of products, all memory cards do essentially the same thing - store data.

In essence the difference between the Mini and the Micro Sd Memory Cards is the physical dimensions. Whilst the Mini Sd physical dimensions are 1.5 x 20 x 1.4mm that of the Micro Sd are 15 x 11 x 1mm.

With Mini-Sd cards the memory capability of a variety of digital products of cellular phones, handheld PCs (HPCs) and smart phones would be extended to 512 Mb. It is very easy to transfer save and store digital content from and to Sd memory cards that would then give exceptional boost and maximise the performance of the mobile device.
